I had the true honor to work with Joy of Joynoelle on a new website. Every moment in her presence is awe inspiring and fabulous. She was a designers dream to work with, as our styles meshed together harmoniously. Not to mention I adore her collection!

When we set out to create her new site, we decided it should be clean but overlapping organic and should inspire soft romance. Ohhh the heart flutters for this. The mood board shown here, was how we kept ourselves in check, as we dived into the design.

When you set foot in her store, you know at once that you have found the one designer that will truly understand your dreams. Her store is as beautiful as her dresses and as charming as she is. We wanted to capture the essence of her design and the experience of custom design in her store for her online experience.

The site was designed to be light, beautiful and ever changing. It was important to us that the site have a good CMS system to update content and keep the site current. The home page utilizes several galleries of images that transition softly between images. As well as a randomized quote, to give that fabulous dash of Joy’s personality. The mix of bridal, ready to wear, runway and studio images creates a delightful balance of the textural playground the Joy creates.

The Bridal and Ready to Wear categories really brought a smile to our faces as we incorporated a zoom feature for the garments, allowing the user to really see the detail that Joy puts into every one of her creations. And you can zoom in on fuzzy kitties. What’s not to love about that, kitties, lace, and pretty dresses. Not to mention it features the beautiful photos by amazing photographers such as my personal favorites, Photogen Inc and Brandon Werth.

We also branded her blog, tieing the two communication sites together. Creating a beautiful wallpaper texture for the background. Her first blog post, oh so fitting, for her upcoming Collection! Inspired by none-other-than the amazing Dr. Seuss. I had the honor of peeking at some fabrics, and you need to be at this show! You’ve never seen so many beautiful things until now!
